Pilea hitchcockii is a striking member of the Pilea family, native to the tropical Andes. Its pointed leaves shimmer in shades of deep grey, chocolate-maroon, and silvery green, often with a metallic sheen. The foliage has delicate serration along the edges, giving it a unique texture. Growing to about 15–30 cm tall, it is ideal for tabletops, shelves, or terrariums. Known as “Dark Mystery,” it adds dramatic contrast to indoor plant collections
