He likes quite a lot of light, but direct sun can be a bit harsh. A bright room, away from a window, is ideal.

Loves Humidity so mist regulary. 

            Its thick stems contain a lot of moisture, so it won't need to be                        watered as often as you would expect. Water once you see the                      stems drooping
