Crassula ovata is a classic, long-lived succulent native to South Africa. Its fleshy green leaves, often tipped with red in strong light, grow on woody stems that gradually form a miniature tree-like shape. Known as the Jade Plant or Money Tree, it is associated with prosperity and good fortune, making it a popular gift plant. With minimal care, it can grow for decades and even produce clusters of small white or pink star-shaped flowers when mature.
