  Echinocactus grusonii, is a globe-shaped cactus that eventually grows tall. Native to Mexico, it bears bright green stems with up to 40 spiked ribs. Contrasting yellow areoles produce golden yellow spines. Bright yellow flowers appear in summer. As a houseplant it works well in a pot as a feature in its own right, or may be grown with other cacti and succulents, particularly those with different leaf colours.

 LIGHT

 Moderate, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight and deep shade..

 WATERING

regularly during the summer and spring. keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. You can allow the topsoil to become slightly dry between each watering. Reduce water in the winter.                                                            

 IDEAL TEMPERATURE                                                         

 It prefers an average summer temperature of 65ºF / 18ºC – 70ºF / 21ºC. In winter, cool to 50ºF / 10ºC.
