A popular, compact, Japanese quince that’s great for adding colour to your garden in early spring when deep crimson flowers with golden stamens appear on its bare branches. Later in the year it has glossy leaves and an abundance of fragrant yellow fruits.
Flowers best in the sun but will also tolerate shade, its compact nature makes it excellent for growing against small walls, fences or underneath windows.
This variety is very hardy and will do well in most well drained soil.
Ideal for the smaller gardens, it is a particularly compact variety. The fruit can be eaten when cooked or made into jelly.
