Callicarpa bodinieri 'Profusion'

This lovely deciduous shrub is a plant for all seasons,
it has clusters of small pink flowers in midsummer,
but it’s really prized for the clusters of striking, violet,
bead-like berriesthat appear in autumn and
remain after the plant has lost its leaves.
The young foliage is bronze-purple, becoming
dark green in summer before turning rich golden-purple
in autumn. It will brighten up your garden in autumn
and winter or use the bare branches laden with berries
for flower arrangements.
